Reviewing the Situation

Current Mood: nerdy
Current Music: Scenes From an Italian Restaurant - Billy Joel
Recent events, i.e., something I wrote in someone else’s blog, compelled me to open long-ignored boxes and page through some of my old high school newspapers, for which I wrote quite a bit. The specific piece I want to share today is a page produced entirely by my 18-year-old hand. It’s a full-page ad for our senior musical, Oliver! I played the role of Mr. Bumble [your joke here]. It was originally printed on legal size paper, so I’ve slightly reduced this reproduction. I hope you enjoy it!

One other thing – the title of this post is actually a song from the show. The fellow who sang it went on to marry my sister – but that’s another story!

Oliver

Mr. Bumble? OK I can see that, I guess....but at 18 years old? I wish I could have seen that production. Oliver is one of the plays I toured in when I was a child. We did it for two years....thats a long time for a little girl to play a theif and a boy!

P.S. Your sister married Fagan? Yikes!
