When Pigs Fly – In First Class

I noted this fascinating item in today’s Chicago Sun-Times. It concerns a new business called Pet Airways. As the name implies, it is an airline for pets. If you’re not able/inclined to click on the article link, I will note that the animals are picked up and dropped off at dedicated pet lounges in the airport; they are given potty breaks; and they are monitored every 15 minutes during the flight.

One catch – the only humans on the plane are the crew. That’s right – it is an airline exclusively for pets. My only question is this: If your pet, God forbid, were to die while on the plane, would you be charged extra for your carrion?
