Siamese Twinning in Chocolate Chip Cookies*

This case came into the CofC Clinic the other day. While Siamese twinning is occasionally seen in various species, this is the first time we have seen it in this particular breed of chocolate chip cookie (Latin taxonomic name famus amus).

Subjects were in stable condition when first examined, but it was quickly determined that a separation procedure would need to be attempted. Neither subject survived, which was frankly unsurprising. The bakery has bravely vowed to make more.
* With a tip of the cap to the Journal of Irreproducible Results and their classic exploration of this same phenomenon in gummi bears.
