Music:Me and Bobby McGee - Modern Barbershop Quartet
This is a quick tip of my suddenly looser cap to CC, who gave me a much needed haircut yesterday. She is a master (mistress?) of many crafts, from sewing and stitching to knitting and crocheting; from drawing and painting to making dolls and marionettes, and a gaggle of other skills I shall bore you with another time. She holds a Master (Mistress?) of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Design from Wayne State University and, oh yeah, she acts and sings up a storm too when the mood strikes her. Ultimately, I have such a high regard for her talents that I can scarcely believe that those same hands that can create such artistry are being applied to the humble and diminishing crop of hair on my head. And on top of that, it saves money!
This is a regrettably small reproduction of some costume renderings done by CC for a production of George Farquhar’s 1707 classic The Beaux’ Strategem. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
